Coming soon · Groundwork
The gym should come with instructions.
Groundwork is a simplicity-first fitness system for people who want to stop guessing, build confidence, and finally stay consistent.
The problem
You didn't fail the gym.
The gym failed you.
The gym is one of the most common places people go to change their lives. It is also one of the least clearly taught places most of us will ever walk into.
Beginners are expected to immediately understand equipment, exercises, muscle soreness, nutrition, progression, and recovery — with almost no real instruction. You walk in, you look around, you hope no one notices you have no idea what you're doing, and eventually you stop going.
Fitness culture gives people intensity before understanding. Diet rules before food basics. Transformation pressure before confidence. The assumption is that motivation will carry you through confusion.
It doesn't. And it never did.
Most people who quit the gym were not lazy. They were under-taught. They were handed complexity when they needed clarity. Groundwork starts there.
The philosophy
Simplicity creates clarity.
Clarity creates confidence.
Confidence creates consistency.
Consistency creates results.
Simplicity is not a cosmetic feature. It is the first mechanism of real, lasting progress.
The system
Five parts. One direction. No wasted complexity.
Simple Gym
Know exactly what to do when you walk in the door. No guessing, no wandering, no wasted time wondering if you're doing it right.
Simple Teaching
Understand why each thing works. When nothing feels random, nothing feels pointless — and you stop second-guessing yourself.
Simple Fuel
Eat in a way that supports the work without obsessing, calorie-counting, or giving up anything you actually enjoy.
Repeatable Weeks
Build a routine that survives real life — holidays, hard weeks, travel, bad sleep, and the other ten things that usually derail you.
The Reset Rule
Learn how to restart after any break, setback, or gap — without shame, without starting from zero, without the spiral.
Jeremy
Founder, Groundwork
The builder
Built by a gym regular, for everyone who was never given the manual.
Jeremy has been in the gym seven days a week for years — not because he's obsessive, but because it became genuinely simple for him. Simple to show up. Simple to know what to do. Simple to eat well enough.
What made it simple wasn't talent, genetics, or the right gym membership. It was understanding. Once he understood the basics clearly, everything else followed.
Groundwork exists because Jeremy realised that the gap between people who stay consistent at the gym and people who don't is rarely effort. It's almost always clarity.
Most people were never taught. This is the instruction manual they should have had from the start.
